I have four 12" Pyramid Hyper Pro subs. and yes, I am aware that these subs are far from good, but i got them for free from a friend a few years back. everything is stock in my car right now. i was thinking if i should get an amp and hook these up for the hell of it until i find a much better system, or if i should just wait and keep lookin for a better system? any suggestions? and if any suggest goin with the pyramids for the time being, what would be a decent amp to use with these?

Im supposing these are single voice coil subs. I dont know what the RMS watts on these subs are but I bet its less than half the max watts. No more than 100-200 watts RMS im sure. You can hook all 4 in parallel and bridge them into a mono amp @ 1 ohm or get a 2 channel amp and put 2 subs on each channel @ 2ohms each or connect a pair together in series then bridge the 2 pairs into an amp @ 4ohms. Any 600-800 watt amp will run these subs at the correct impedence.

The RMS is 500 watts, and yes, they are single voice coil.
