Top mount? bottom mount?

Colin D New member Username: Subwoofernoobey Post Number: 9 Registered: Aug-05	Posted on Saturday, September 03, 2005 - 02:58 GMT When speaking in subwoofer terms, what is top mount, and what is bottom mount??, example..the Kicker Comp 05C104 has a top mounting depth of 4 13/16 inches, and a bottom mount of 5 5/16", waht does that mean??

Usually speakers are 99.9999% surface mounted in most applications ... ya got it !?
