When speaking in subwoofer terms, what is top mount, and what is bottom mount??, example..the Kicker Comp 05C104 has a top mounting depth of 4 13/16 inches, and a bottom mount of 5 5/16", waht does that mean??

If speaker is mounted on the surface its top mounted - if its mounted under the surface its bottom mounted .
Usually speakers are 99.9999% surface mounted in most applications ... ya got it !?
