i am on a one sub set up right now, and am thinking about going with a 2 sub setup. I have an alpine that puts out 600 watts @ 2 ohms. I was wondering which 2 12's would give me the best sq/spl combination using the same amp. any suggestions are appreciated. price range about 200 or less per woofer.

they work great in sealed or ported. For the price they are amazing subs. You wont be dissapointed.

u can get 3 12" re's (70$ each) which are 175 rms each from www.reaudio.com but i dont know how you would setup the configuration to run all 3 off that one amp

im thinking of gettin 4 of those or 1 15" sx

which do you people think would get louder?

2 12w3's would also work nice... good sounding subs.
I'd go with 1 SX's... with a big ported box, and a nice amp.

man those jl's are crazy expensive. how about digital designs, or image dynamics? don't they produce as well as the jl's, but at a lower price??

or should i just stick with the 1 sub set up, say an eclipse 9122 or re se?? I just want something that hits harder than the type r, but still retains its sq.
