Diamond Audio D61500.1
Saw it http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2697
$582
Saw it on another website $495 brand new . Right now my subs only require 800wrms @ 1ohm but since i heard that this is such a top brand - i'm itching to put in some more $ & get this in case of more powerful subs upgrade in the future .

Is this price what these normally sell for ?????

Hey Rovin, that is a good amp. Too bad there are no downloadable manuals nor detailed spec. I probably would've bought one last year, had I not seen Orion HCCA G4 amps.
It gives 1500w rms @ 1ohms. It can work in your situation as long as you have self control with the volume.

Have you looked at JL 1000/1 amp? It is an excellent amp with lot of features and options for subs. A tad overpriced as usual, but still a great amp.
Another great alternative to DA is MB Quart.
Orion 2500D, Xtant and PPI are others that can easily replace DA.

Thanks man - thing is i currently own 2 econo Pioneer subs 400wrms & looking for a quality/solid performer amp that'll last me yrs since i might upgrade those subs .
They have the 1200 wrms model @ $450 but i thought it'll worth the extra $46 & get the 1500wrms model .

Though i can buy JL , not willing to spend almost twice as much $ @ this point in time, though in the future i want a full JL system with 2 or 3 13" W7s !.

Orion i do like , PPI is really ugly looking but should be good too . Xtant , i read its good but never even saw 1 in real life .

MB Quart : that 1000wrms @ 1ohm model that Crutchfield has on a $299 special - does it really put out a GENUINE 1000wrms ???
If it really does , i can settle for that & spend $ saved on some good 2 pairs 6.5 Infinity Ref components & a Alpine MRV545 amp for them .

Please let me know soon as u can - Thanks !

MB Quart is a good amp. The question is not whether the amp can put out 1000w rms, but can your car handle it?
If you've never heard of Xtant amp, you should try one. Very high quality for both subs and components. I'd dump Alpine amps over Xtant any day.
If you're going with cheaper sub amp, then use the extra money and get Xtant. You won't regret it. Do some google and read up on Xtant reviews. I personally have used and tested Xtant. Very nicely designed, US made too.
Zapco C2K would be my first choice, then JL 1000/1. However, Xtant will perform just as well as JL at half the cost.
My 3rd choice would be Orion/PPI, then MB Quart/DA.
There you have it.

I would rather have ugly amp that performs than a flashy amp with Hifonic quality.

Just logged on to Crutchfield & the @#$%! deal on that MB amp is gone - aaaaaaah ,that hurts -lol

I have a Nissan import station wagon BTW . I do realise that electrical/HO alt upgrades are necessary for those big amps . I read about Xtant, just never been able to actually saw 1 in person .

I don't like ebay so where online can i buy those Xtant ?
BTW - where would u put MMATS amps in your rankings , less than 5 ppl on this forum know that name , but alot of guys in my country know the brand pretty well especially Sir. 15" Juggernauth . Glass said he ranks their amps very close to Zapco quality .

Beside woofersetc.com who else online has Zapco amps ?
