so i heard that the PG tantrum 1200.1 does not have a regulated power supply. could some one put it in simpler terms what this is? i heard that being given 12.5V greatly lowers the rms rating. would anyone know what the rating is at this voltage?

An unregulated power supply meens that the output is directly influenced with the incoming voltage. The higher the voltage, the more the amp will put out.

Regulated power supplies put out the same from 12.5 - 14.4 volts.

I know what a regulated/unregulated power supply is.

I was asking what "bump" is supposed to mean.
