I'd also go with the type X. The L7 does sound kind of "crappy" but it does get pretty loud. The X will get loud, but sound better. I guess it just depends on what you're goals/expectations are.

its really hard to decide cause i love the feel of heavy bass but i like clear sound well is the amp straight like is it the best bang for the buck ... i hope i got that right so half the battle is over
