I have two rockford fosgate p1's 150rms and a diamond audio 300rms sub if i change the speaker wire from 16gauge to 10 gauge would it sound louder. I used to have 10 gauge for my 600rms amp and i changed to 4 gauge and it sounded way louder i was just wondering if it will sound louder if i change the suwoofer wires any help would be appreciated. thanks
No. For your subs, 16 gauge is good enough. You can probably still get away with 18. Unlike power wires, there is no high current flowing to the subs. Take a look at your house wires. They're 18-16 gauges.
