SHERWOOD XA-1240Q HELP!

I have 4 MTX 12" woofers, 4ohms each. I need to know if the SHERWOOD XA-1240Q can handle my MTX woofers wired at a 2ohm load or will this fry my amp?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

it'll run 2 ohms, but sherwood is total crap. if you haven't already paid money for it, I'd look elsewhere for a reliable amplifier.

the problem is you have a 4 channel amp and four 4 ohm subs.
that's 4 ohms per channel.
if you bridge the amp to two channels it's only 4 ohm stable and you can only run two subs.. one per channel at 4 ohms.

just get a different amp, like a hifonics brutus 1500 for a couple hundred bucks. that's 1 ohm stable and can run all 4 subs fine with about 300 watts per sub
