let me ask this again..and hopefully ill get a response...

ok..if i get a box here http://www.klausaudio.com/caraudio/subwoofer_boxes/customize.cfm?productid=35

and im supose to have a slot port with these demensions - W=12", H=1.25", L=21" - for each sub

and it asks "One Slot Port Per Chamber tuned to __ Hz with __ square inches of port area"...do i just convert the recommended port measurements to Sq. inches?...an wut should it be tuned to?

there are 2 seperate chambers...so this is for 1 sub..

www.bcae1.com has calculators for port tuning.
use them.

oh and for 12" type R subs, tune the ports to about 34Hz
tuning is based on box volume after adding driver displacement and port volumes to the gross volume of the enclosure to get it's net volume.
