Idmax subs, please help

as much fun as it is, im tired of buying stereo equipment. I want something that is going to pound, sound good, and last a while. I heard that the idmax subs are top of the line, they are alittle out of my budget but if you guys say i'll be impressed, thats what i'll go with. I was thinking 2 12s in a ported box tuned to 34hz. Also, what kind of amp and how many watts should i feed them. Any advice greatly appreciated. thanx

They're great subs. I've installed them and listened to them extensively. Whether or not you'll be impressed depends on what you're used to listening to, however.

IDMax are a pure SQ sub... the best in my opinion. The lower model, the IDQ's are actually more of an SQL sub, great SQ, and decent SPL as well.

Also look into the Avalanche, Eclipse Ti, almost anything made by RE, especially the XXX.

You'll be impressed with any of those.
