Silver Member Username: Basshead86Ocala, FL USA Post Number: 441 Registered: Aug-05 | the reason i say to have a ported box built is b/c every sub varies in the amount of airspace it needs to perform at its best, and most boxes can't supply you with the proper airspace not to say that a prefab box wouldn't be big enough, but it might be off of your subs' air specs by too much or not enough |

hondarider Unregistered guest | i read somewhere that if the efficiency is just 3 db lower u will have to have the volume up twice as high for the same sound is this true |

Volume knobs apply power exponentially to make up for the fact that the decibal scale is logrithmic. |
