Ok so tommorow is my first comp as stated in my previous thread but I have another question. Shoul I play the sweep to see where my best frequesncy is or use the 53htz as giving to me by
Zac? Another question is should my port be facing inside of the cabin for the burp so the air can shoot directly twords the meter or should it still face the rear about 6 inches from the back of the car?

your bass will not be as loud with the port facing in the cabin, your bass will sound cleaner, but it will not be as loud.

leave it facing the rear for the best results, you should just listen to a bass sweep in your car, and "pick out" where you think the sub is playing the loudest.

they do have moderators, but you have to either post a lot of spam, or post a lot of "spa" threads to be booted off, so try not to post a lot of SPAM lol

yes, that was my ignorant friend, you should leave the port firing towards the rear, it gives the bass time to "mature" before it goes into the cabin, therfore it is louder:-)

Ask the judge what he thinks about the 53hz. Ask him if you should do a sweep. Let him know you are new. Ask questions. I don't know one @sshole judge. They are there for you. I'm trying to remember my first comp so I can give you advice...but really just don't be afraid to ask questions. And oh yeah, get a number from a Penthouse chick for me.

Oh, if the comp is inside...bring ducktape and something to loosen your neg. battery cable. Not that everybody follows the rules, but the gas tank should be taped and neg. cable should be off of battery before you compete. Unless the rules have changed. There's advice...find out the rules. lol
