.. do you even wanna know how many options are available?.. Try to be more specific in what you would like and the budget for just the subs, or if you want an entire hookup, the budget for it as well.

.. please refrain from talking at all if you're too lazy to type an extra letter in over half your words.

rms is what a sub can handle any day .. the peak is what it can handle for a short time like at competitions..

Do you want more sound qaulity subs or loud subs, what's your budget, what sizes? See what I mean.

Well sorry for being lazy then. Yes I want a pair of good subs that I can count but I would like a little more loudness over quality. About the price, i'm willing to spend about $3-400 on the subwoofers alone.

First of do you know all there is about frequency response and range too, maximum SPL and at different frequency responses sensitivity program handling power.

As there is a lot to research before venturing into this, believe me.

well, first i'll admit that i look at quality before i look at sq or spl.
a good quality sql sub that happens to be in that range is http://soundsplinter.com/rlp_premium_series_12_and_15_inch_subwoofer.html (no suprise here)

the other recommendations are loud sq subs. idq's and w3's.
there are, however, other subs that can be recommended by others that get plenty loud, but might not sound like too much of anything musically. i just noticed that you did specify sq, but loud as a priority.
that kicker gets loud, but has awful sq and probably won't last very long without faults.

I'm sure there is, that's why I turned to this message board seeking help. I just want to have sound that will have me pleased. Like I said before, I want something loud and good.

Those do look nice, but what other subs do you know of that fit my needs? Because basically whatever is recommended here is what i'm going to go with. But looking at these subs, I would go with the 15"s.

You what to feel it before it can be at the maximum level, don't you, there are many ways to achieve this one is fitting special low frequency transducers under the setting in the car alone with the rest of the car Hi-Fi.

I don't think that I want a butt kicker that kindda cheesy. I don't want to just feel a vibration of a bass i want to hear a deep as*ed sound to go with my alpine main speakers.

again, i'm out of suggestions for your price range except for Elemental Designs
http://www.edesignaudio.com/us.ph but there was a credible person on another forum who had a bad experience with them, and the subs have had a bad rep ever since. here is a relatively objective comparison though http://forum.soundillusions.net/archive/index.php/t-48321.html
keep in mind that you can reach incredibly rediculous volume levels with just one sub and the proper enclosure. here is a site of snail shells http://www.powered4sound.com/ i don't do spl at all, but i have heard great things about them.
http://www.realmofexcursion.com/videos/Adire/brahma12.2.wmv

regardless, here is my top line-up of SQL and SPL subs. i'm certain others will assist eventually as well.

JL Audio

Eclipse Ti

and if you are feeling gracious, you could try these out:
Dayton Titanic MarkIV

they look great on paper, but i don't know anyone who has heard them.

good point quick. completely forgot that one. again, i met someone at a comp show who dumped his W7's for the 9500's. for the better, according to him. he was running four 9500's with the box in the flat bed and subs firing into the cabin. says he hits way harder now. whether that's true or not, i sincerely doubt he's sounding better than with the W7's. good catch though.
but for all of the MTX huplah about the 9500, i have yet to hear any other competitors running them.

yea what killed the MTX sub was the fact that they compared it to the W7 by using paper specs that gave people a bad attitude toward the sub because it sounds good...but its SQ doesnt stack up to the W7s..but it does get louder though

also alot of those subs have to be prchased directly through the manufactures website although you can buy some of them at websites like www.woofersetc.com or on Ebay

how about the alpine type x ... which is 1000 rms ... would it be better than 2 type r's ... since the type r's are 500 rms each

u can get a type r for 100$ and a type x for 199$

oh and wats a nice 1000 rms amplifier like under $300

thats the price for one sub lol...you should buy them off ebay their so much cheaper...it depends on what you want
8500=louder than W6 and sound good
W6=not as loud but arguably one of the best sounding subs on the market today(sound better than the W7 in my and other peoples opinions)
