i've decided to get those subs. what should i get as in ohms and single or dual voice coil? i know some subs only come in dual voice or single.

what's the difference. i know that the higher number of ohms is that it's more stable but less watts than running at say 1 ohm.

Do you have any ideas on your amp yet?Match up the ohm load if you do.

Yup, you just need to match the ohms with you're amp.
The difference in DVC, and SVC subs, is more wiring options.

go DVC if you plan on getting a 1ohm stable mono amp or a 2-channel amp
go SVC if your getting a 2ohm stable mono amp

alright. not quite sure on amp. i need 800 X 1 or 300 X 2 or maybe even 400 X 2. and i'm on a budget. and ideas? i'd prefer a 2ohm stable amp.

and about wiring DVC subs. how do you connect like the subs together? i saw a diagram on crutchfield and there's wires being connected together from the subs and then going into the amp. i wasn't sure how you would connect the wire from say the positive on one sub to the positive wire coming from the other sub.

the drawing basically explains it all...positive with positive, negative with negative to create a parallel connection
