I know this is a crappy brand for amps but just ballpark figure what do you guys think the EL1500 actually gets at 2ohms. It is supposed to be 500 watts. It's not in my car but a friend of mine's car. If it's somewhere around 350 watts at 2 ohms would that be good for a 300-400 watt subwoofer.
I don't think that anyone in here really knows. But is the 500 watts @ 2 ohms RMS or max? If it is max, the amp will put out 250 wrms at best. If it is 500 wrms, then you will be good, just set your gain accordingly.
