When wiring two subs in a box with separate chambers for each sub, would you connect the subs through the inside wall of the box(this would mean you would only need 1 terminal)? Or would you send the wires out their respective terminals and wire them together on the outside?

Make more sense to send the wires out their respective terminals and wire them together separately on the outside - that way you can configure them differently for different applications . Example if you change from a 2 channel amp to a mono you won't have to unscrew each sub , rewire & do over holes & terminals - save yourself the trouble upfront now .

most likely you'll have to do that anyway because if you have a 2 channel, your probably running it at 4 ohms bridged...if you have a mono, your running 1 or 2 ohms...so you'd have to unscrew and change the wiring anyway, i would wire it inside the box...less chance of a crimped wire or short...plus its a cleaner install.
