Question about wiring Cerwin Vega subs to JL amp

Vega V-max Unregistered guest	Posted on Saturday, March 20, 2004 - 20:15 GMT I have 2 Cerwin Vega V-Max 15" DVC subs and I want to hook them to my JL 1000/1 amp. How should the subs be wired to sound there best in a slot vented Vega enclosure in the back of an Expedition? Series or parallel?
its_bacon12 Silver Member Username: Its_bacon12 Post Number: 311 Registered: Dec-03	Posted on Sunday, March 21, 2004 - 02:08 GMT whatever load will fit on that amp - it doesnt matter how you wire a sub as far as SQ goes i would say wire the voice coils in series then run the subs together paralell to get a 4 ohm load on the amp which is in the acceptable load range
