yikes! U should know ya stuff u bought. :-)

Anyway i had a look at audiobahn's website. It's actually a A8001DT monoblock amp u have capable of 800 RMS (i think) @ 1ohm.

I think ya subs are DVC but is it a dual 2ohm, 4ohm or 8ohm? As it comes in 3 models by looking at Audiobahn's website.

Last thing i wanna do is to fry ya amp, subs and wallet. Do look up and let me know.

ah great. so it's a dual 4ohm sub.

Go here:http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard.asp?WoofQty=2+woofers&Wo ofImp=Dual+Voice+Coil+-+4+ohms+x+2&image.x=14&image.y=10

wiring option 1: will see your amp driving at 1ohm @ 800RMS (luckily ya amp is stable on 1ohm).

If u choose wiring option 2, ya amp will be driving at 4ohms which might be a tad bit under powering as ya subs will draw more than that if u really crank it up.

Go with wiring 1. Ampo might run a bit hotter than normal due to a lower impedance load.

oh..my bad.

your A8000T will NOT run on 1ohm stable. Only 2 or 4 ohm stable.

And ya sub is a 4ohm DVC. Oh well...u can only hook it up to 4ohm mono now. This A8000T will only output 400rms x 1 at 4 ohms mono. Sorry i mistook ya amp for a higher model earlier on.

You can only hook ya subs (2 x 4ohmDVC) to either 1 ohm or 4ohms. Be good if u bought two 2ohmDVC instead. Can u still exchange it?? :-)

will i be still able to hook up both subs and it sound ok? im not worried about it being the loudest thing ever i just want some bass ya know?

yeah u'll still be able to hook up those subs (4ohm DVC) of yours. Instead of wiring option #1, you will now HAVE TO use wiring option #2 so your amp reads it as 4ohms which it would be stable on. I assume u have seen the diagrams already.

Remember it's now Wiring option #2 you have to follow. ok dude. :-)
