I have a power acoustik 820 watt MAX and 460 rms x1 amp, and I just fried my voice coil. I have a 10" sub in a Bazooka tube in the back of my wrangler, all controlled with a pioneer, head unit, dvic-n2 navi. I would like to hear some suggestions of what kind of woofer I can replace it with that I can have for years to come and be somewhere in the range of 100-200$. Im a broke college student and cant really afford the top of the line stuff YET all help would be greatly appreciated.

if you fried the sub, it's because you either don't have enough current for the amplifier, or you have the gain set too high and caused clipping which destroyed the speaker as it's going to destroy the next one you get, too.
what you need to do is set up your system properly and have enough current for teh job to prevent damage to the speakers.
better equipment is a bonus too.
