136.5 not bad for one 850.2 kicker amp for all 4 subs plus not broken in yet

only 136.5, i thought you would hit higher than that. I am hoping to hit 140. but i don't see how i could beat 12's with 2 12's. Only reason would be that i have a thousand watts going to two subs, instead of your 850 going to 4. I don't now if my type r's are better than your cvr's, what do you think, am i crazy for expectin to hit 140?

well a guy in the comp with me hit 138 with one 15 cvr with 1200 watts runing it so more power is good. never heard type r's so could not tell you heard them lot in here though and nothing bad so far

only 136 is because you are underpowering them, and are those ported eclosures

if your into competitions get ported enclosures and run about 100wrms over your subs recommended power, so for 4 it would be 400w, and get a new alternator

your gonna need 2000 watts

how about 4 850.2 for each sub? thats my goal for next years comp and sealed or porrted not that much differnce in dbs and i like the sound of seald box better more shrp sounding

so out of curiosity what did that system cost you??, i have 2 comp vr's and having 3 or 4 would be pretty sweet

the box,subs and amp cost me about $2600 canadian pluss dumb a.ss taxes

man i'd definatly go ported. I was always a sealed box fan but I love the added output from ported boxes. If you tune them low enough say around 28hz-30hz they sound great.
