well the other day i was fixing my 6X9's in the back of my car that were mounted in the trunk..i took out my box and everything. a friend stopped by and told me to face my subs torwards the front of the car. said it would be louder and sound better.

so my question is.

what are the +'s and -'s of facing the subs torwards the front of the car?

what would you prefer doing?

i've never really seen anyone with their box faced in the front like that. just wondering what the difference would do. thanks.

General rule is that it'll sound better facing the back, imo anyway.

my friend did, thought it sounded better, but also like letto i think it sounds best/loudest facing out, and it's easier to show off to your friends

Move it how it sounds best to you. It could be back, or sometimes front, sometimes side, sometimes down, sometimes up. Try them all out.
