I have an old pioneer ts-w201f 250W subwoofer(free air type) but it doesnot produce bass anymore, or very little...the cone is still perfect..it produces some midrange sound as well. Can any one tell me if something can be done with it or if i have to throw it away?
If it's blown you'll know. Like compulva said push on the cone... and to add, if it makes a scratchy noise, that's a bad thing. It should be relatively easy to push and shouldn't make any noise.
