Well, if you want to be just freakishly loud, go with the Kicker. If you want to be loud, and still have some sq, w7. I'd prob go with the Solo, and pack on the watts... but then again I'm more of an spl fanatic.:-) lol
Yeah, the MT is a good choice... and I think its cheaper. Depends on how much SQ he's looking for. Where do you get you're swishahouse? I can't find them any where... bestbuy... hasn't even heard of it.

Actually, W7's do really well in low tuned boxes. Perhaps your bad experience with one was in an improper box. Although I agree the W7 is ovverpriced, it still remains one of the best SQ subwoofers on the market.
