alright my buddies has a cd stuck in the cd player of his car...i took the player out for him and i told him i could see what i could do...i know this isn't the headunit part of the forum but i think that you get more answers here...ok...so what should i do...do you take the screws off then does the metal around it pop off...then just get the cd out...or do i have to get it professionally done...thanks...
Take off the top cover, then unscrew the screws surrounding the CD mech which shouldn't be more than four. Remove the mech. Then you're going to have to find the proper gearing to turn and manually eject the CD.
This probably would've been answered sooner if it was posted in the headunit forum, but yeah, it's only me and a few other people who even post replies there seemingly...
