I'm running that exact amp.
What is the subs specs?
No, you shouldn't need a cap.
I'm running that amp, with the P4004, and I need more than a cap... a new HO alternator is what I need.:-)
Is that the only amp you're running?

You can hook it up at 2ohm stereo or 4ohm mono. The best way would be to hook them up at 4ohm mono.
