hey guys im thinking of getting a
single 15" orion sub, (i love orions, so i wana stay with that brand, i think)
but it seems kind of expensive
and it handles 2000 watts, and i think that would be to much in a ported box, in a little sports car?
i need some advice on maybe a different orion sub
and also an amp to power whatever you decide for me lol

1 more question,
with the stock 3000gt system it has dual 6.5's in the front
and 1-2(forgot) 6x9's in the back
if i got a new cd player, is the cd player in the back, and do you tihnk i also need to upgrade those also?(thos ebeing the stock midrange-tweeter speakers)

thanx let me know, thanx in advance for all ur advice

Waste of money IMO. I'd go with an RE SX over the Orion anyday. I've talked to many people who have used these subs in SPl setups and they seem to be very unstable. You can wang all over the H2 being fed 2kw while ur SX is getting louder of 1kw.

so i should go with the RE SX's
would a single 15" be to much?(its not for comp. just i really really am into music, im an audio technitian, very sensitive to quality, just not experienced in car audio)
but a single 15" RE SX in a ported box with an x amp
be the way to go?

im guessing it has 1k rms w's?
amp suggestion?
and again thanx for the input

also a particular model thats <300 ?

The SX would be my suggestion, but there are oteh routes to look at. You could even do a 12" SX and be very loud if done right. It's all in the install.
