Hi all, I was a LP guy for years and last year(After another smoked LP amp)I bought a SS EGA2160. this amp was nowhere near as clean as the LP but it had power and worked.Last week I bought a SS Van Gogh 400.2 and it sounds so much better than anything I've heard to date. Its super clean and has tons of power! Its hard to believe these two amps were from the same company.
You folks should really try a VGA series before you write SS off.
