Just bought an avalanche 12" dual 4 ohm sub.

was given MTX thunder 942 amp. it says its bridge stable at 4 ohms giving some 700-942 watts. will these two factors work? or is it time to find a new amp?

mtx thunder942 amp specs.

i looked at the jl audio and RF wiring links and i guess it doesnt work. but the screw balls at best buy said it would. hmmm?

naw. sorry man, it's not gonna work. i can't stand that store.
you'll have to get a mono block amp that has good output at 2ohms, or find a 2channel (similar to yours) that is stable bridged at 2ohms.
