I picked up a Zapco Z300C2-SLX today and I want to hook up the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 6-1/2" to it. I am enw to car audio so I am not sure if this is possbile since these are crossovers.

I am looking at specs on the amp and it says for a built in crossover "LP/HP, 12/24 db/octave".

How does that work or is this even possible?

Also how many ohm connection are these going to be?

Thanks!

Alright Brian, set the switch for HP (High Pass) and set the slope to 12 db/octave. Set the HP frequency for the same that you have your LP (Low Pass) on your sub set to. If you don't have subs, don't worry about it, or set it like 80 Hz if you don't want your mids handling much bass irregardless. BTW, nice amp and speakers.

Oh, to find out how many ohms you'll be dealing with, just find the specs for the speakers. I assume that model amp is 2 channel and you'll be wiring one speaker to each channel...
