Built in crossover

does the jl audio e1800d have a built in crossover? what what will sound better with this amp. 1 15" eclipse ti or two 12" alpine type r 1242

yes that amp does have a built in crossover. What sub is the best is a personal matter. I'd take the 2 alpines if it was my choice.

good question...what kind of music do you listen to? Are you looking for more sound quality (tighter bass, better transient response) or SPL (deep loud bass)

I would go with 1 eclipse Ti...they are among the top subwoofers on the market and the Ti Pro is probably THE BEST subwoofer on the market or damn near close to it.

they are nice, its true, but i've never been a fan of 15's in general. Not tight enough response for my taste.

i listen to mostly rap and am looking for more sq then spl... i cant stand those people who have setups that are loud as hell but sound like complete shi t!

thats a pretty good sql (mix of sq and spl) driver but trust me Ed, you'll be getting pleantly loud and abnoxoius with that driver, but it won't sound like sh!t.

The first few Avalanches shipped out yesterday, June 30th. The rest should all make it out after the 4th of July weekend. If you call the Ascendant shop, you'll get a message saying that they have a large fedex truck scheduled to take almost all the subs in one trip.
