well i recently bought 2 12" MTX subwoofers from a friend of mine. the box he built for them sucks. there's no divider inside the box to divide each section for the different speakers. there's a little whole in the middle for the wires to come out.

so i'd like to build my own box for it.

what would be a good size? good design? what kind of wood? just wondering.

yeah sure..i could always just go buy a new box. but i'd rather just learn to make my own.

yeah i looked them up on some sites. the 6000's and the 8000's both have ribs on them. but the 8000's were more of a shiny silver finish and the 6000's were just a flat silver.
