Wiring Subs

I blew a fuse on the 4 gauge wire running to the amp, so I think I might have wired the subs wrong. I want each sub (Punch Z dvc, 400 rms) to get 300 rms from the amp (601s, 300 x2 @2ohm). Is it wired right?

that looks fine...

like i said in another thread, its not your wiring config, its the 4awg fuse you used, was too small i would reccomend atleast 80A fuse, if you can get around a 100a or 120A fuse for later upgrades

no that does not look fine you have one of the voice coils wired the wrong way on each sub you have them hooked up in perellel so when you bring the + wire to one voice coil also bring it to the other + with the other coil do the same with the -here is a blown up picture of yours and then here is one on how it should be
the right way

what happend when you hooked up the subs the way you did you had one coil pulling the speaker back and the other pushing it forword at a 2 ohm load witch was to much for the amp
how long did these subs work for and did they even sound good
