The other day I was playing frequencies and all of a sudden the sub became very gargally and scratchy. It still plays but sounds horrible. Is it blown? If so is it possible to fix it?
one way to tell if its blown is to push on the speaker cone,{take it out of the box} if the cones doesn't move the sub is blown, but if it does move in and out the sub is still ok.
It was in a sealed box with like 2ft^3 but I was using an Audiobahn A8002T bridged for like 800watts so im not surprised that its blown lol. Oh well I already ordered a 15" Avalanche. What amp should I use for it. I was gonna just use a Hifonics BX1000D or BX1500D cause I only have like $200-$300 for an amp but if you guys think there's something better tell me.
