2 12" 300rms Sony Xplod's and 2 12" 400rms CVR12's? What difference will I notice going to kickers? Louder,clearer sound,deeper heart pounding bass,SQ? THanks!

All of the above. CVRs are the far better sub. Much better reliability as well.

what type of box are you using? I have a sealed box built professionally that almost doubled my Sony's sound quality/loudness... I think I would just use that sealed box.

What about the 2 12" kicker CVR12's vs. 2 12" MTX 5500's? Which is better?

kickers imo... not a big fan of MTX subs, but there amps are very good and some of their higher end subs

kickers are some of the best for your money

well, I have 2 Sony Xplod's that are 900max/300rms (I don't have the kickers YET) but I am running the amp at 2 ohms and it is putting out a "rated" 350 watts RMS per subwoofer but closer to 400 RMS because it is slightly underrated. So I figure my amp should handle the kickers pretty well. That amp looks pretty good... I am a little new to car audio but for some reason it is only stable at 4 ohms when bridged which creates 400 watts RMS per subwoofer... Only problem is it doesn't say it is stable at 2 ohms while bridged which means you will probably only get out 200 rms to each channel... Is it just me or is this the case? EVEN IF it only put out 200rms to each channel RF makes good quality equipment and it should be great...
