im guna b buying 2 12" subs (either alpine type r or JLW6v2) and just wondering whats the best box to put these in?

i found for the JL the specs for both a vented and sealed enclosure but cant find it for the alpine?

most subs put out the most bass in ported or vented enclosures but sometimes sound better in a sealed box u might go to a car audio store that sells the sub and ask them about it or get a user manual for the sub

i can find the box dimensions for the JL, just not the alpine

I know the sealed volume is 0.7 - 1.0 and I couldnt find out the ported but im guessing 1.5

when building a box for 2 subs, for example a ported box is it best to build 2 seperate boxes and put them togetha or 1 big box for both subs??

for alpine r's it is 1.5 ft with a 4 inch 14inch long port

sealed for r's is .84 gross cu ft each
ported is 1.7 cu ft with 22.75in port that is 12"x1.25" -33hz

and idealy u want to put each sub in its own chamber
