... surely they werent 1600 watts rms or your alternator wouldnt have lasted very long.. with the fosgate running it at 2000 watts you would need an alternator that puts out at least 230 amps
max wattage is a diff story they probably put out low rms numbers.. still lights dimming is a sign that your electrical system cant keep up.. the rockford is gonna suck even more

I know this isn't my topic, but I have a question pertaining to the same subject, I'm sure you won't mind a slight topic highjack. I just ordered 2 Hifonics TX1505D's and a Hifonics TX4405 ,thats around 3440 watts RMS. Will I need a new alternator? If so, where can I order one?
