im looking to get a 4 channel amp for my infinity kappa speakers and an amp for 2 alpine type r subs any suggestion? probably better to keep the same brands right? also im only 17 so i dont have a ton of money, im looking $500 for both amps? a friend of mine has hifonics anyone think they are good for me cause i can't afford something like jl thanks guys
Persanally, I would look for a used orion amp. Make sure it is made in the u.s. If the hifonics amp is a newer one then it most likely is not that great. If it is an older one made by zen audio then take it and run! But seriously if you don't mind getting used from like ebay, then i would seriously think about used orion, xtant, zapco, or an art series ppi amp. All of these are underrated amps. I hope this helps!
