I have a mono amp. It has 2 connection terminals. Right now I have 2 SVC 4-ohm subs, and I have each hooked up to its own terminal. Is the amp reading that as a 2 ohm load? Like my subs are wired in series? I am going to be hooking 3 subs up to this amp soon. Is it ok to hook 1 sub up to one terminal and the other 2 subs up to the other terminal?
Thanks in advance. :-)

Your mono amp will see the 2 SVC subs as 2ohm load. If you add a 3rd, then your amp has to be 1ohm stable (that's assuming your adding another 4ohm SVC).

Thanks Isaac. I understand the ohms part, I have no problem with that. I am just trying to understand the use of 2 speaker terminals on a mono amp. So I can hook up 3 subs the way I said above? One sub on one terminal and 2 subs on the other terminal?

That amp looks like its a 2 channel amp, but it is wired in parallel internally, those 2 sets of terminals are for easy connection for 2 subs.
