Can two 12" avalanches out perform two 12" x.x.x's ???

if so how many watts would the avalanches need to each in order to hang with the re's???

its more about the enclosure... and u can look at it in a different perspective...... get 2 12 inch avalanches in a ported box tuned to like 20-25 hz... it will hit sooo low ur head will want to explode.... but id give them between 800-1000 watts for maximum output... im going to run 1100 thought to a 15 ava... teamtoxic bass runs 2000 but they are well aware that they might burn the VCs

i dont think they would kill them. but i do think the xxx would be louder... but for the price i think an avalanche is a better buy.

u can never say for sure i have seen a re xxx 15 hit 145.7 and seen video of a avalanche 15 hitting 148 and all these where on termlab mics. it all depends on enclosure and how much clean power the sub sees

i'll take either lol... i want to hit 145+ with my avalanche and a jl 1000/1 in a ported box tuned to i think 24hz.

ill let u know how my 18 sounds when i get it in my 12.25cf box tuned to 25hz (already built and its freaking huge just need to paint it) powered by an Audiobahn a12001DQ birthsheet shows 1260wrms at 14volts. should pound :-)
