ok I have an Auidobahn A8002T amp and im plannin on getting a JL 12W3v2 to run in a ported box. my question is this the amp runs with an output like this:
200Wx2 at 4 ohms
400Wx2 at 2 ohms
800x1 at 4 ohms
now i now the JL is rated at 300W RMS but is that total or for each voice coil. and i need to know whether i shoul run it mono (since the wattage has a 99% chance of being overrated and is prob 600Wx1 instead or 800Wx1) or do i sell the amp( and my other Infinity sub) and get a CEA compliant amp rated at 300Wx1(if sub is total 300W RMS) or 600Wx1 (if both coils can take 300W RMS)srry if this is long winded but i dont want to void JL's strict warranty. thanks in advance

they are rated 300 rms total (150 a coil) but will take more if given clean power...clean being the key here
