im really sorry guys...i just realized why the guys tangband 6.5s had some occassional port noise ...when you convert from total box size and you get linearteams port volocity which under .16 is desired with rated power you must run the same port length you got in the 66.666% first chamber and make sure that same porth length at that tune you get still accounts for the new port tune in that chamber at your rms power.....the same goes for the second chamber at 33.333%....at least thats my theory and i think its correct

example ....for my tangband 6.5's i bought like that guys on here

http://www.cardomain.com/id/kennywrx

*** All port volocity measurements assumed at 100 rms power using winisd online version desired port volocity is below .16 ***

(your dual chamber abc box)

1.20 at 37 hz
car stereocom claims 36.68 at 20.69
car stereocom claims .80 31.76 hz at 20.69
car stereocom claims .40 44.92 hz at 20.69

linear team shows 1.20 at 37hz is 2 ports at 2.9824 inches round with a port volocity of .05
linear team also shows the .80 with one 2.9824 round port to have a port tune of 31.81 hz with a port volocity of .24 which may explain your port noise
linear team also shows the .40 with one 2.9824 round port to have a port tune of 45.997 hz with a port volocity of.17

(some proposed triple chamber abc boxes i figured up )

carstereocom claims 1.10 is 27.09 hz at 20.69 port length
carstereocom claims .55 is 38.31 hz at 20.69 port length
carstereocom claims .275 is 54.18 hz at 20.69 port length

linearteam claims 1.10 is 27.4 hz at 20.69 port length .28 port volocity
linearteam claims ..55 is 38.139 hz at 20.69 port length .20 port volocity
linearteam claims .275 is 53.937 hz at 20.69 port length .14 port volocity

(1.925 cf total triple chamber abc box)

carstereo claims .90 is 29.949 hz at 20.69 port length
carstereo claims .45 is 42.35hz at 20.69 port length
carstereo claims .225 is 59.89 hz at 20.69 port length

linearteam claims .90 is 30.511 hz at 20.69 port length .25 port volocity
linearteam claims .45 is 42.3119 hz at .20.69 port length .18 port volocity
linearteam claims .225 is 62.281 hz at 20.69 port length .12 port volocity

(1.575 cf. total triple chamber abc box)

carstereo claims .70 is 33.953 hz at 20.69 port length
carstereo claims .35 is 48.02 hz at 20.69 port length
carstereo claims .175 is 67.91 hz at 20.69 port length

linearteam claims .70 is 34.113 hz at 20.69 port length .22 port volocity
linearteam claims .35 is 48.243 hz at 20.69 port length .16 port volocity
linearteam claims .175 is 68.225 hz at 20.69 port length .11 port volocity

(1.225 cf. total triple chamber abc box)

no displacements were accounted for

another example
this was for the re xxx 15 abc box i came up with previously using 4 inch pvc

2.90 .60 port volocity at 24.2571hz
1.45 .43 port volocity at 34.305 hz
at 1200 rms power
***results from winisd online***

you can continue to build what you guys were building but the port volocity may play a large factor as i suspect

i really am not sure about this port volocity being to much id say build it and take your chances and let me know how it comes out that way you arent wasting that wood either fishy....what speaker were you building for?
