If i get a monoblock amp just for my Subs and run my speakers just off ma cd player with 4 x 50w amp built in should i see an improvement in them anyway? or is there a definate need to get a separate amp for my speakers?
What are your door speakers/mids/highs? To achieve good sound quality, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend a separate amp for mids and highs. The MOST I have ever seen ANY HU put out is 25watts RMS. That 4 x 50w on your HU most likely is NOT RMS wattage. If you want ground-pounding BASS with very little mids/highs, okay, run the door spkrs off the HU. BUT if you want to hear the words of the song, amplify those comp. speakers!!
