i have a bx605 hifonics amp, its a mono amp, and i have 2 12in kickers wired to it, but im looking to buy a pair of 6x8s. is there anyway i could wire the 6x8s to the amp even though i already have 2 subs wired to it?
No. You wouldn't want to wire 6x8s to a mono amp anyway. Mono amps are specifically meant for subs. You probably have a low pass crossover set on your amp right now too. So even if you did hook up the 6x8s the crossover would cutout all the fequencies about 80 hz and up, making your 6x8s pretty much useless. Look for a cheap 2 channel amp for your 6x8s.
well i have an old 300w kenwood amp and audiobank(ever heard of it?) amp that my brother in law gave me but i dont know how many watts it is. if i have to amps going to the battery will that drain my battery, or will it matter since ill only have one power cord connected to the battery?
