do you have the room to do one of these

well you got two choices this subwoofer will work in both sealed and ported sealed acceptable to me would be 2.8 cf. each before displacements ported 2.34 cf each before displacements ported to 30.3 hz in ported youll be about 3 db louder in the low bass region to 50 hz and close up to 55 hz but the onlty thing i dont like about the ported is what the accuracy will be like they might me a tad sloppy....your subs displacement is .47 so sealed would come out to 3.27 cf per sub sealed and 2.81 cf per sub ported

yeah but its tight im going to do 2 of them i might tune each one difrent. i can go like 3to 4 inches longer. if i have to i have them in a sealed box and they do bound but i think it will sound loder with a ported box i dont need trunk space so thats not a problem. im going to make a nice box but i want sloted ports

ok you might have a little port noise but i cant really do anything about it you would need a slot port 12 inches high high by 3 inches wide assuming the subs are sharing one chamber this is at 19 deep internal which i assume all your measurements you gave me are internal you should hit pretty good at 55 to 60 hz

I use this for slot ports

http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31

and i use this to figure out the port volocity with the port size with your power rms from your amp....to figure it out together i just match the port size with linear teams single port size until it matches the depth of the box internally

you didnt answer me if the box was split chamber so im assuming it is....obviously thats a 4 inch high by 2.25 wide port per chamber (so 2 ports on the box)
