i've got a 1200 watt audiobahn class d amp and i'm trying to run it in a 2003 civic. my amp clips and my lights dim so i know the amp needs more power. my question is would it be better to run a high output alternator, or would it be better to just have 2 separate batteries, one up front and an optima for the stereo. and if i did go with the other battery, would my 70 amp stock alternator even be big enough to charge both batteries
Lol ok...the other post got deleted but here goes again! Uh, NO...I asked something like that before...ALWAYS GET THE H/O ALTERNATOR! Then get cap. Then get the batteries! (When I'm done with my system...I'm gonna need like a 150A alt.)
