I really don't get this ohms stuff. I have a JBL 1200.1 mono amp. I want to get two eclipse subs that are 4 ohms each. Can i run these subs with the amp? If so can you guys help me out with the wiring? Since these subs are expensive can i wire up one first and then wire the second later?
well if your amp is 2ohms mono witch i realy like and your subs are 4ohm what i would do is wire them in parallel then it would be like on big 2ohm sub you could try one at a time but you would cut the power almost in half so this is what i would do
