Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 3033 Registered: Nov-04 | You can afford an amp that's as good as JL if not better. Take a look at Orion XTR/SX/G4 series. PPI's PC/PCX are great too. Someone is selling the Xtant 1001 amp. It is 1000w rms and can easily replace JL 1000/1. |

So for a little bit more, you'd get 2x the power. Orion HCCA 250 G4 will out perform JL 500/1 amp at a lower price. It is .5 ohms stable in stereo and 1ohm bridged. Orion XTR has 400w - 500w rms model at half the price. PPI has PC/PCX series that is around 600w rms. They are all priced below JL. Try searching on eBay. |
