in 3.0 cu/ft get two avalanche 12's and tune them to like 25htz 1.5cu/ft per driver with a good 2000 watts and you will be slammin and sound very good also:-)

atlas is a great sub but u really cant expect to much output out of a sub with 300wrms no matter how effecient it is

dude dont be skeptic man just go with the 2-avalanche 12's not atlas and give them 800-1000 (real) watts each from a good amp not the Hifonics you were talking about before a good amp and you will be on your way to 150db's man.I have 1 avalanche 15 with 800 watts and I am running sealed and I hit 146.7 and thats in a sealed enclosure so they can get very loud and they sound very nice also.

you are going to need `600-2000 watts at 2ohms to run two of them. call on monday they are waiting for the dustcaps but they will be shipped out withing two weeks I ordered a 12 and I cant wait to get it and go ported and see how it compares with the 15 sealed and the 15 atlas as well:-)

alright ill probably get the rockford 2000 or the Lightning Audio strike 2000.1 then thats 1000 at 2 ohms and i cant afford much more if any then that and i want it ready buy nopi nationals so i can get a get rateing on them. do they only come in 4 ohms or can you get a 2 that way i could drop it to 1 ohm or are there any tricks to get it down.

are you gonna run 1 or 2? they come in dual 2ohm coils so if you run 2 you will run them at 2ohms. you are gonna need an amp that is 1600-2000 watts at 2ohms.

no that wont cut it because there is no way to get a 1 ohm load from 2 of those subs.

For a 1 ohm load you need 2 DVC 4 ohm subs wired parallel/parallel.

yeah i know that but they come in 2 ohm DVC so i either get .5p/p or 2 ohmsp/s
