Polyfill quick question

i found a bag of polyfill and i was gonna throw itr in my subox.. to alpine r's about .8 cu ft each.. that bag is a 1 pound bag.. would i be ok to throw half the bag into each chamber or should i go get some more?

Don't just stuff it in the box. Take your time and either staple or glue those sucker to the box.
Last thing you need is pollyfills flying inside the box with every beat.

If your box is a little to small for your sub, it can help. Besides if it doesn't work, you can always take it out.

does polyfill only help in a sealed box?? or can it help with ported too this is probably the stupidest question here

no thats not a stupid question and yes it can help with a ported box as well but a larger box size will make your port tune lower (polyfill gives the sub the elusion that the enclosure is bigger than it is without changing it) a pound of poly per 1 cf. can change the box size by as much as 33 percent

walmart polyfill's there enclosures by the way.. and they actually sound good... with what walmart sales.

ill just buy my polifil from wal*mart, not the boxes....

Will polifil work with other speakers such as full range, im working on a home audio project, little satalites, i was wondering if that would help, before I seal them.

no idea just go and see.. it can't be astronamically high because its basically pillow stuffing its a good/cheap investment into audio
