they are similar it all depends on the makes of the amps you are running them with

with the JLs it would be a 500 watt amp, $500. For the Aplines it would be 1700 watt amp, $300

and let me add that the alpines are only 500 watt RMS each so a 1700 watt amp will be way to powerful for them unless it is a garbage amp with a 1700 max rating not RMS.

dude a local shop is gonna sell you a JL 500/1 and two 12w3v2's for $500? jump all over that man! those are crack head prices if it is brand new.

the amp alone is $500 the the subs would be $250 each

haha the shop near me sells those brand new with a 2 year warranty for 150. Where are you getting them, Tweeter? That is a crazy price. Thats too much for that amp too. For 300 you can get a new 12w6v2.

Well i did reserch on amp watts and i found out if u want a good quality amp you should pay about a $1 a watt

yes but thats typically for class a/b not class d. class d tend to be a little cheaper. Dude do yourself a favor and look on ebay you will save a ton of cash.

so, ok i am goin on ebay an buy all this stuff and then get it shiped to my house and suck with the boxs that are filled and i cant do stuff with because who is goin to put them in for me. i am no car audio specialist
